Hi my child has glue ear and regularly gets bad ear infection, we are going on a two flight in four weeks will it cause more damage flying, what can I do to help with his pain if he does ending up having a ear infection when we are due to fly, would you advise anyone not to fly!
If your child is suffering from an ear infection or any ear discomfort, you are suggested to get him clinically examined by an ENT. It is not advisable to take a flight without consultation by an ENT.
Your child needs medicines & treatment. You have four weeks' time, he can get well by then.
Don't avoid seeing a doctor rather get him treated so that he has a comfortable fight.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
