I'm 55 and have been sittng for a long period of time grading final exams. I tend to get bladder problems at the ends of semester, but this year it feels vaginal -- I can feel tissues rubbing together when I walk. Feels weird internally. Didn't have this problem until end of term, when I have had lack of sleep and long periods of intense sitting and stress. Exams are horrifically painful. I skipped my pap smear last year for first time in 33 years because of pain from 2009 exam that lasted five days. I had a total hysterectomy including ovaries when I was 44. I hate the vaginal estrogen cream, but looks like I'll have to get back on it for a while. Applicator chafed my vaginal lining even with jelly when I used it once five or six years ago. Any other advice. I have bladder urgency frequently but no infection. It's not as much fun to be alive as it was 10 years ago. It seems like various parts (lower back, stomach are acting up.) I lost my gall bladder two years after my hysterectomy. Took horomone replacement therapy (lowest dose from ages 44-46) and that destroyed my gall bladder. Wish I'd known beforehand.
