How Did Central Pontine Myelinolysis With Lesions Cause A Demise?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...
Hi,
I am a doctor who had a question about Central Pontine Myelinolysis. I had a patient you died with pontine lesions. However the patient died at home suddenly with no organ damage (except a diseased intestine), no IV, no major illness - nothing. However with the presence of lesions I'm thinking that it's possible she was malnourished. However, the kidneys and liver were perfectly healthy. Could it be possible she had CPM with no determinable cause of death? Oh yes, she was also not an alcohol or on any medication or taking a diuretic
