How Long Does Macrobid Stay In The System?
I just finished my 14 days of macrobid last evening. Don t know if it solved my UTI that has been going on for a few months. Still getting side effects to include nausea, lack of appetite, some body discomfort, and fatigue. How long does it stay in my system and can I speed it up? I feel like I have the flu, but it isn t that.

As the half life of macrobid is concerened its half life is 20 to 60 minutes which may be prolonged in renal impairment,
its excreted 40% through urine and in small amount through feces,
the side effect like anorexia,nausea,abdominal pain and Gi disturbances are treated symptomatically.
