How Long Does It Take For Vaginal Pain Due To An Yeast Infection Take To Get Treated?

I have developed a lot of blisters on the inside walls and the opening of the vagina. It’s been 5 days and the pain has not even slightly reduced. I am unable to walk and do anything. The doctor said it’s yeast infection. How long will it take for the pain to reduce and to fully get treated?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It takes around two to three weeks for complete recovery.

Avoid sexual contact on these days.

You can use Clotrimazole lotion to cleanse your genitals.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
