How Safe Is Ondansetron Oral Solution For 6 Year Old Child?

My son is of 6 yrs. He is suffering from nausea/ vomiting from yesterday. I gave him Ondansetron oral solution P but just now I checked on internet it is for those patient who r suffering from cancer, my question is I gave this medicine to my child is it OK?

Ondensatron is safe for children. And it is prescribed for nausea and vomiting. So you have done nothing wrong. So don't worry.
Cancer drugs causes more nausea and vomiting. And Ondensatron is very effective in prevention of cancer treatment related nausea and vomiting. This is the reason why it is written like Ondensatron is given in cancer.
Otherwise it is safe and very effective in children.
