How To Get Rid Of Discolored Patch With Dark Brown Patch On The Cheeks?

for the past year or so ive noticed that i have extremely pink/brown cheeks. when you look up close, you could notice a giant patch of discolored skin, like dark brown/dark pinkish. ive tried different face washs, soaps, ance cleansing creams, im starting to think this is permanent. Is there any way I can get rid of this and have a normal skin color all around again?
