My father has extreme pain in his leg and feet. He has been diagnosed with varicose pain. Pain subsides with painkillers , but on reducing/stopping the intake of painkillers the pain comes back. This problem had occured about 2 years back also. But with hot/cold water therapy it got vanished. But now the pain since last 7 months the problem has become extremely severe. He wants to get permanent relief from the same. Doctor has suggested surgery. Please advice pros/cons of the same.
