How To Stop Abnormal Menstrual Bleeding?

I have abnormal bleeding (should be due to hormone imbalance) in March,2 mths after D and C abortion at 9weeks due to hyperemesis.Dr gives me norethisterone for 16 days ,when stopped heavy bleeding starts,like water flow.Now Dr gives me Yasmin.But I want to get pregnant again and worry that if I stop at 21 days (now 14days),I'll bleed again.I'm 40years old.Pls help,how can I stop bleeding and conceive again?
