Hi. I play baseball and often dive or slide, hitting my knees. In particular, I instinctively pull my left knee up to land, and it takes the brunt of the landing, directly to the front. Lately, the pain has become tremendous, knee is swollen a bit and can't bend as far. Imagine simplest answer is, stop landing on it. OK, I'll try. I've also started icing it after an impact, and I wear knee pads to play, but the impact goes right through them. The injury seems to be spiraling - that left knee is much more sensitive to any impact now. Any other suggestions, other than, keep from hitting them for a few months?
