I have have chronic neck and back pain. it gets to the point where i can't get out of be some days because I can not turn my head. I have been going to a naturopathic MD/chiropractor who does popping actions to my neck and back and now I have shooting pain from both of my elbows down on a constant basis. I take vicoden for the pain but it doesn't suffice. He now wants to do interjections in my pain areas but I am so afraid of needles and I am also worried I will kill my liver with all of the tylenol in the vicoden. SO my question is,1) is there a drug a tiny bit stronger than vicoden that lasts all day so that I don't have to take 1 every four hour that doesn't have tylenol in it, and 2) what type of doc do I see to get to the source of the problem? xrays have revealed nothing although the doc says he can feel a lot of things wrong with my neck and back.
