How To Treat Pituitary Edenoma Tumor Of 27mm?

Hi,
My wife went into unconscious on May 10, 2009 evening and when admitted, I was told that she had a stroke and after CT and MRI, she had a pituitary edenoma tumor with 27mm also. She was in unconscious for about 12 days and with that stroke which came in left side, she lost her speech and right side was paralysed. Afte ten months from stroke, she is able to walk very slowly and had is not in control, speech also she is able to utter two and three letter words whenever she wants to speak.

Now, how safe the tumor operation and what are all the side affects of post operation and risk. Can she recover fully after post operation and reviver her duties as she is employee.
