How To Treat Prolonged Periods?

I am 46. I have had my period for over a month and still there is no sign of stop. I am quite worried about this. I had the same experience twice before this. For the first time, my doctor had to get into my ueterus to clear away the blood and then give me some birth control pills to regulate my period. For the second time, my husband bought some vitamin K for me and then it stopped. But even if I tried vitamin K again this time, it doesn't stop. During the last two periods, I had sex with my husband. I wonder if this will affect my period? Recently I feel some pain from my ueterus and lasst night I nearly passed out with the pain. I am worried if I had cancer? Please how can I make my bleeding stop? What kind of check-out should I take?
