Is 5mg Dose Of Folic Acid Pills Harmful During Pregnancy?

hi, good night. Sir/Mam. i am a Chinese in India and am 34 years old now. and i am preganent for 51 days already. from 42th to 49th day, i took folic acid tablets 5mg/day, but my friend told me that was too much and maybe harmful to mother and baby, so i changed to 0.4mg since 50th day. does it really bad like that? by the way, before being preganent, i had been taking Iron Folic of Amway brand, 3 tablets /day, and 0.133 mg/tablet. thank you very much!!!!
