Is Emitrol Safe To Take While Being Gluten Intolerant?

My daughter is 40 yrs old/ 5 2 / 200 lbs and has been diagnosed as gluten intolerant. She has recently relocated from Houston, Texas to Las Vegas, Nevada and hasn t been established with a Dr. here yet. Her Dr in Houston told her that her intestines swell and that they need to run a test on her stomach to find out exactly what is wrong. The cost went from $300-$3000 with the rise of insurance with the affordable care act . She is very sick today and has been in pain and vomiting all day. My question is Emitrol safe her to take for the nausea. We are trying to avoid taking her to the ER . Thank you for your time.
