Is Appearence Of Skintag After Operation For Vaginal Repair Normal?

Doctor, I had an operation for vagina repair. However, now the stitches outside and at the base of my vagina, where it was sutured are looking weird, like the stitches/flesh are not properly attached to my skin. I can pull on my skin and can see/feel something like a skin-tag. What should I do? Is this normal and should it be removed/stitched or repaired in some way? I am worried that the skin-tag could get caught on something and cause discomfort or even reopen the wound. Either way, it doesn't feel right and is not 'neat' like I would prefer. Also if I push on the area in a certain way, there is a slight pain. I would value your advice. Thank you.
