Is Cardiomyopathy And Irregular Periods Related?

I am a 39 yr old female recently diagnosed with cardiomyopathy as a result of RCHOP chemo and radiation to the mediastinal region. For the last several years, following cancer treatment, I have also experienced very irregular periods, with lots of spotting and prior to and following one or two days of extremely heavy flow - not normal for me. I had a large, benign polyp or cyst removed from the uterus and a DNC, which did not solve the problem. Could the cardiomyopathy and the irregular periods be related?
