Is Duphaston Advisable During Pregnancy?

Hi I'm 4 weeks pregnant (if you consider from the 1st day of my last periods), I had really light pink mark yesterday morning, I went to the emergencies and a doctor there suggested Duphaston to fix the baby in the uterus, but i'm not confident about taking this medecine, I read bad reviews about it, what do you think?
