Is It Normal To Have Hot Flashes With Smelly Sweat During Menopause?

I'm not far off 49, female and apparently in the early stages of menopause. Hot flushes are unpleasant, making me feel mildy sick when they come. Both the sweat and faeces smell the same, organic almost, is this common in menopause? My diet has is unchanged, I don't smoke or take drugs and am not on any medication.
