Is It Safe To Have Marsupilization Procedure For Reoccurring Bartholin Cyst?

Hi,

I'm 20, 5ft 5", and weigh 72kg.

I have suffered with a reoccuring bartholin cyst for 3 years and went through a marsupilization procedure in June.

All seemed to be going well, however when the swelling had gone down, and the disolvable stitches had gone, I notcied a small lump/wart/skin tag on the edge of the stitched area.

I am concerned as this was definitely not there before I had the procedure; has this just appeared because of the stitches or is this something more serious, i.e a symptom of an sti that I need to worry about?
