Is It Safe To Take Ecospirin When Pregnant?

Hi Doctor,
I had a baby delivered in 8 months but it could not survive.
I had preclampsia with PIH. This time doctor has advised me to take econsprin before conceiving.
Dr also told me to have daily shots of Asprin after conceiving. Is it safe to take ecosprin? what kind of side effects it will have on my baby?

Thanks for your answers

Hello,
Thank you for your query.
Ecosprin contains aspirin which is non steroidal anti inflammatory agent.According to many experts low dose aspirin i.e 75mg is safe in pregnancy infact it has beneficial effects when there is history of miscarriages or something which is called as antiphospholipid antibody syndrome in which it is helpful. It helps in prevention of clot formation and thus it reduces the chances of miscarriage.
So dont worry taking low dose of aspirin as your doctor is going to prescribed will be safe for your baby.Take medicines as per his guidance.
Hope this helps.Take care.
Thank you.
