I AM FEMALE / AGE 14. MY THYROID TEST REPORT SHOWS T3 - 112 ng/dl T4 - 4.8 ug/dl AND TSH - 35.44 uIU/ml COMMENTS - IF NOT ON DRUGS SUGGESTED FT3 &FT4 ESTIMATION
Welcome to HCM. I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Your are having hypothyroidism - under active thyroid. Your thyroid hormones (T3 & T4) are on the lower side of normal and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) is higher.
You need to be evaluated and treated. If I were your treating physician, I would have started you on thyroid hormone replacement after doing some additional tests to find out the cause of hypothyroidism like anti thyroid antibodies and ultrasound neck.
Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help With warm regards, Dr Ajish TP (MD,DM) Consultant Endocrinologist.
