My wife has shingles. Severe nerve pain in her chest and right breast. This is starting her 5th week. We went to see our family doctor this afternoon and he prescribed Lyrica. She is already taking Gabapiten three times a day and her doctor told her to take the Lyrica right along with it 3 times a day. Does this sound like a typical treatment for shingle nerve pain ? She said the pain is non stop and she cant take much more of it. Any suggestions ?
