Pain In Upper Inner Thigh After C Section, Throbbing In Neck, Pregnant Now. Is Something Serious ?

I had pain in my upper inner thigh after c section that went away but has returned now that I am pregnant again. I feel it when I walk... Like a tight muscle. Last night I awoke to a throbbing in my neck on the right side... No pain & not consistent. I also noticed (when I walked to the bathroom) that my hip pain was gone. Is this a sign of something serious... Like an embolus moving????

Hi,
The pain you are experiencing could be of neural origin; vascular pains do not disappear, yet you may have to rule out the possibility of a vascular pain in your neck as it is throbbing in nature. The possibility of an embolus after the previous caesarean section depends on the post-operative outcome at that stage and the duration after surgery. The pain is most likely due to this pregnancy and you may get further advice from your doctor. Wish you safe motherhood.
