Pain On Left Side Between Hip Bone And Ribs, Slight Pressure On The Area, Sore. Should I Meet A Doctor?

Hello, and Thank you.
I am having pains on my left side between my hip bone and end of ribs, I thought maybe it could be gas or need to move bowels, but I moved them today and the pain is still there. I can't even put slight pressure on the area it hurts so much. If I walk around it is sore as well. Do you know what this could be? should I go to my Dr. Tomorrow? this is two days now of this.
Thank you,
Stephanie

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
It could be due to muscle spasm, any pathology around kidney and ureter. It is better to get it evaluated by your doctor for correct diagnosis and treatment plan according to that.
Meanwhile take proper rest, drink plenty of water, apply muscle relaxant gel to relieve the spasm.
Hope this will helps you. Let me know if you have any more concerns.
