Should I Be Concerned For Soreness After Hematoma Surgery?

I have hematoma on my eyelid, 3 weeks old, I had surgery a week ago to get it removed and not all of it was able to be removed. Now, the part that is left is feeling very hard and sore. Is this normal? Should i be concerned that the soreness of the actual hematoma, not the incision from surgery, is increasing?
