Should I Continue Levofloxacin Incase Of Discomfort In The Tendons?

I have been taking the medicine Levofloxacin 750 mg tab dr re. Some of the complications are irritated tendons. I have complications from surgery. I have been on this for almost month. I have had these problems since the beginning. Should I continue on with the meds or ask the doctor to come off?

Hi,

You are right, one common side effect of Cipro and all Quinolones is tendon inflammation. If you have such problems, yes, I would suggest you should talk to your doctor. If he can advise any other antibiotic for this.
