I am 72 years old. A few years ago I was told I become allergic to bees. I was stung by to Yellow Jackets about 5 hours ago. My breathing has been fine but in the last hour or two my right arm has begun to swell up. I was stung in the head and on the side.. do you think I should go to the ER? Breathing still seems to be fine.

Hello,

If the swelling progressive with rash. If you observed any blend or necrosis at the site of lesion, please consult your physician; he will give tetanus toxoid intramuscular shot. Followed by antihistamine and antibiotics are useful to reduce the inflammatory reaction.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
