HI

Welcome to HCM

See typhoid spreads by feco-oral route . It means the infected persons excretes bacteria in their motions and if that contaminates the water or food and if that contaminated water or food is eaten by normal person he shall get infected .

So by breastfeeding you will not be transmitting typhoid to your baby . Just take precaution that you wash your hands thoroughly after you go to bathroom and before you feed your baby .
