Sternum Seems To Be Pushed Inside After A Bang On The Chest. Help?
Hello, I went to a mixed martial arts try-lesson, and we ve been down grappling. Somehow, my opponent came with his knee on my chest and now my sternum is kinda pushed inside. I googled around and I can only find pectus pectus excavatum but I ve not been born with it or something, it just happend with a accident. I m a 15 year-old boy.
According to your history most likely you have injured sternum . Other possibility include congenital pectus excavatum. you can send your clinical photograph , Or consult orthopedic or paediatric surgeon I advise you to take x ray chest ,take analgesic ,rest and clinical examination from surgeon.
Hope I answered your questions.
Take care
