Suggest Cure For Infection In The Ears

My daughter, 14 months, is having tubes in her ears this coming Thursday. She clearly has an ear infection right now, but my doctors (who are not available b/c it's a holiday) say that I need to get permission before getting her any medication. So my question is - if I take her to a walk-in/urgent care to get antibiotics, will that postpone the tubes surgery on Thursday or should we just wait through the infection until the surgery? thanks!
