Hi, I have trouble with one of my ears.....

I had trouble around last christmas time with the other ear, and it turned out that it due to a large build up of wax. I think this might be my current problem although I'm not too sure as its a little different this time.

It feels quite muffled and blocked (like i'm constantly wanting it to pop), but I can also hear what sounds like my heartbeat but very low key and quiet. It also only seems to occur at night time, although this could just be due to the more sound i'm around.

I try to keep my ears fairly clean, although if it is wax again could it be that there's something more wrong than I suspect.
