Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My son has cyclic vomoiting. He is getting sick right now but has not vomiting in 3 1/2 hours. Still not better. I want to abort it if I can. He 29 years old and had this for 15 years. What can I do? I gave him zofran at the beginning, so not worse and not better.
- Drink gradually larger amounts of clear liquids. - Avoid solid food until the vomiting episode has passed. - If vomiting and diarrhea last more than 24 hours, an oral rehydrating solution such as Pedialyte should be used to prevent and treat dehydration. - You can also use Reglan tablet to stop vomiting.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
