itchy scales. red and silver. started on lower outside left calf. crept onto inner calf, but not as much. mostly on outer side of calf. sometimes burning sensation. sometimes pricking or like a wasp sting feeling. small amount now on right calf as well but not as severe. small amounts on both wrists and forearms. a little bit across top of chest under throat. a few bumps on tops of both thighs. seems to start as very tiny/small white hard bumps under skin, like a whitehead, only very hard, like cysts. very itchy. try not to scratch, but sometimes do and don't realize I am. went to family doctor. he didn't know what it was. sent me for basic blood work, nothing unusual. he gave me a cream to apply.



I was under treatment of neurologist (in accident...rear-ended by school bus....and as a result spend a LOT of time sitting). showed him. he didn't know. he sent me to a dermatologist and a rheumotologist.



the dermatologist did skin plugs to lab...came back as scarring tissue....he didn't know...gave me another cream to apply....wanted to refer me to a psychiatrist that did good work with people who have scratching disorders .... ridiculous. haven't gone back to him. very insulting!



I went to the rheumotologist. he did more extensive blood work. said everything looked good, but my "tyders" were a bit high. wants me to go to infectious disease doctor. and seek a second opinion of another dermatologist.



For the past 2-3 days have had a lot of swelling in left calf/ankle/foot. swelling is gone in morning after sleep. comes back during day.



all of this started after the accident. don't know what to think or do. I have been on different medicines (pain/muscle relaxers/anti-inflamatories). Been through pain injection treatments. Been to chiropractor. Been through therapy. So tired of this. Thinking I should see a doctor who deals with veins or lymph system.
