Suggest Medication For Ringing In The Ears

I'm not sick, and I haven't listened to anything loud in quite a while, I do have a family history of deafness. I often will get a loud ringing in my ears, and even sometimes a low humming. This morning I woke up to find that everyone's voices sounds robotic. Kind of like they are speaking through a fan. Even my own voice sounds this way. It's hard to listen to music, and people because I find it very upsetting that everything sounds funny. I cleaned out my ears and I'm still hearing things strangely. What could be the problem?
