Suggest Remedies For Lipoma In My Abdomen

I have what I'm told is probably a lipoma (I had a CT scan) in my abdomen. It's about 3 inches long. My husband thinks it's getting larger. Can a plastic surgeon remove it and will most insurance cover that part of what may go on to be abdominoplasty?
