Okay, so I am 16, 5'2", & weigh 106 lbs. & was just put on Loestrin 24 Fe by my gynecologist. I started taking the first pill on the first day of my period; which was last Monday. Today is Tuesday, and my period has never lasted this long, and even if it was CLOSE to lasting this long, it was never this heavy at this point.

I am very worried that something is wrong, or I am not reacting good to this BC.

Also, how long can I expect this 'period from hell' to last!? I have swim meets every other weekend, and tampons arent my strong point. Especially when my periods this heavy.

Another question- Is this breakthrough bleeding that just happened to be at the end of my period, or will I have EVEN MORE bleeding later this month??

I have read so many bad reviews and experiences with this pill, I am starting to wonder if my doctor just hates me.
