Suggest Remedy For Severe Pain, Discomfort And Burning Sensation In Ear

I have had severe pain, dis comfort, and burning sensations in my right ear all day. I went to a minute clinic after work, and was told I have uninfected fluid in my ear- and there is nothing to do besides sudafed, heat, and time. I really need to feel better because I am going out of town tomorrow. Is there anything I can do? How do I get a nasal spray to by eustachion tube to drain it out>
