My son began to get some skin eruptions appearing on his legs. They look like a series of medium-sized ant bites, but without the white-top pus. Some of these 'bites' will disappear after a few days, but new ones will then appear. As stated this has been going on for two weeks. His physician first labeled it a virus, but then, after a second visit, advised to take him to a dermatologist. The physician assistant at the dermatologist could not diagnose but recommended a biopsy. He doesn't have a fever, and he hasn't displayed a change in personality. His left big toe also shows some redness on the top of the toe. The biopsy results should come in a week. Can you assist with a diagnosis in the interim?
