Suggest Remedy For Spotting Problem

I have the birth control implant, implanon. I've had it for about three months. I've read that spotting is normal between periods at least for the first 6 months of having implanon. I got it inserted two days after my period ended. I was ok for a week, then I had spotting for an entire month. I was in the clear for another month, got my period and now I'm back to spotting. I would like to have sex with my boyfriend, but the spotting bothers me. Is there a way to temporarily stop the spotting for a few days?
