Suggest Remedy For Swelling And Itching In Foot Due To Bee Sting

I was stung by either a yellow jacket or bee a week ago in Bucerias, Mexico...stepped on it and was stung in the arch of my right foot. I hobbled to a first aid station at the resort, but no stinger could be found. I applied a lime to the area and put my foot in the pool (chlorine)...and, was taken a daily Claritan...so, within hours, the pain subsided and my foot was fine. Now, back home and at work...a week later, my arch is itching and swollen. I am using over the counter cortisone and, was wondering what else I can do...thank you for your advice.
