Suggest Remedy To Stop Bleeding Into Ears Due To Cut In Tissue

Hi, I just took a shower and when I got out, I carefully cleaned out just the very inside of my ear of wax. On the opposite side of where it sticks up in the middle, I heard a sort of rip sound like I just scraped the skin off. Now, it is currently bleeding from that point and I am restricting blood from running into my ear by tilting my head and putting pressure on the spot with a tissue. Is there anything else I can/should do? Thank you very much.
