Suggest Treatment For A Large Painful Bump On The Arm
Thank you. I have a large, somewhat red bump on my right arm. I thought maybe a bug bite of some sort, but is not itchy. But is kind of sore. So i was just in the bathrooms and thought i saw a small whole in the bump and squeezed it and a lot of thick stringy puss came shooting out of it. What cld that be?

It could be a furuncle which is a bacterial infection of hair follicle. You should start with a course of oral antibiotic like amoxycillin clavulanic acid combination along with antiinflammatory medicine for pain and swelling. Also apply topical antibiotic like mupirocin and go for hot fermentation over the bump.This will definitely help you.
