Suggest Treatment For A Red Bump On The Buttocks

I have a red bump on my buttocks, it doesn't look like a pimple, it's just red. It has soft glossy skin over it and if I push on it, it has a hard feeling underneath it, kind of like a pimple feels. It doesn't hurt or anything, but I would like to know what it is and a home treatment without going to the doctor to look at it because i'm very shy about things like this.
