Suggest Treatment For Arthritis Of Spine And Spondylitis

I had a discectomy lumbar area 5 years ago, and then a year and a half a go had a lumbar fusion anterior, which failed, Before surgery I could not stand on my left leg for even 1 minute without having horrible. post op I have had numbness of the entire left foot, excrutiating left leg pain and leg cramps at night every night. I am taking muscle relaxants before bedtime but only sleep about 3 hours and the cramps start again. I have been told my back has failed and need to have repeat surgery. I have arthritis of the spine, spondolysis, and now curvature of the spine, I am 71 years old, would there be any sense to have additional surgery?
