Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation And Swelling In Foot

hello sir, iam madhuri from pune, my husband is having a burning sensation on the right foot since from last 3 days , we had under gone diabetic tests, it shows that he is having a mild sugar, and doctor said that it will be controlled by regular exercise and intake of good diet without any tablets. but today i found that his right leg was swollen. Can u pls help me , what is the next step i should take
