Suggest Treatment For Cold And Extensive Sleep

MY husband is Type 2 diabetic and has been sick with a cold like illness sice Friday, He said he was feeling ill for a few days prior, then he came home on Friday with severe chills, he is bringing up alot of fleme, no appetite and sleeping alot, His blood sugars are 12.8. What can I do to make him more comfortable?
