Suggest Treatment For Cut In My Forearm

Hi, I need advice regarding a cut that I believe is infected.

I am a 19 year old male who exercises regularly and I do not have any major health issues. My last trip to a doctor was two years ago at a travel vaccination clinic (before traveling to Rwanda) and I had 5 or 6 shots, not sure whether one included tetanus or not.

On Friday I received a cut on the inside of my forearm, about five inches long. It is not very deep, more of a large scrape than a cut, very little blood. The cut has scabbed over completely, but as of today the skin around it for about 1/8th of an inch to either side is very bright pink, it stings, and is very sensitive to the touch. The cut is from a chain-link fence. The fence wasn't visibly rusty or dirty, but probably wasn't the most sanitary thing in the wold either.

I'm wondering what treatment steps I should take for this situation and whether or not I need to seek medical help. Thanks.
