Hello doctor,I had a dandruff problem from a while now, although i'm not sure whether its the result of infrequent brushing or washing of the hair. i read somewhere that it can be due to the oily scalp as well or dry. i'm not even sure how to differentiate and i have started applying oil every time i take a shower 2 times a week, to get rid of dry flakes and also tried a few dandruff shampoos such as Head and Shoulders, Tar one, a ginger anti dandruff shampoo but still not going away. i read somewhere that aspirin pills dissolved with the shampoo and help to get rid of dandruff. Is that true? please let me know what is the reason behind my dandruff and if there is a permanent solution to it.
