My 25 year old daughter, who lives away from home, has contracted a serious condition of her scalp, inflammation of the hair follicles, according to her doc. For over a month now,she has been on a oral antibiotic, and a shampooing regimin consisting of 3 or 4 different shampoos. Within the last year, her immune system has been seriously attacked by the MRSA and H1N1 Virus'. When she first went to the Dermatologist for her hair loss, the red bumps on her scalp were bleeding and full of puss. Finally, question....(she doesn't ask the right ones sometimes, haha...)1. In the areas of her scalp to where the hair had completely fallen out in clumps from the roots,....Will these areas ever recover and the follicle be able to grow hair again?<2. She is very depressed...the reality of this condition being there for her entire life....Is this true? Will the inflammation ever go away completely? Or will she forever have to use these special shampoos in order to keep the condition at bay? 3. Are there any "unconventional" therapies, treatments or suspicious causes for this condition?Thank you so much for your help, GOD BLESS
